Provide First Aid - HLTAID011
Information about the course:
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, include community, home and workplace settings.
Anyone who may require first aid training.
The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that this training be refreshed every 3 years.
There are no pre-requisites for this course
Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded a statement of attainment for:
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID0011 Provide First Aid
This Nationally recognised course is delivered on behalf of and in Partnership with Health Security Education RTO 40907
Face to Face: 8 hours face to face training

Course duration's, as mentioned above, are reflective of group sizes of between 4 and 12 participants. If there are less students in a group, you may find course duration reduced. If a class size exceeds 12 participants it may therefore also be necessary to increase course duration depending on the number of participants.
